Lately, it feels like I have been neglecting the true intention behind THEFITISTA. My goal is ALWAYS to inspire & motivate others to live a healthy lifestyle! It’s my responsibility to provide you all with the valuable tools & information to be set up for success! HELLLOOOO… three years ago I weighed 198lbs & was in a serious need of a LIFE change! SO, the millllly dollar question I get asked on the daily is –> how in the ACTUAL F do you live? Insert confused emoji here!HA! I can’t tell you how shocked my clients are when they find out I too work in corporate, I too have a significant other and I too have to balance my healthy lifestyle with my real world obligations. Their reaction almost always… “wait, this isn’t your full-time job?” NO boo, I WISH!
Current STATUS: I am a real lyfeeee hustlin bad bitch who would rather werk a lil harder than most now to play harder later! BRB… putting that on Facebook really quick.
A simple thing that helps my cray cray life is keeping myself hydrated & FUELED.

energy: duh, you need healthy snacks to keep you movinnnnn & groooovin all day
metabolism boost: yassssss boost it – it has been scientifically proven that smaller portioned meals throughout the day help your metabolism stay in check
reduce cravings: with healthy snacks you should most definitely see a decrease in the need for certain food types while staying full & satisfied longer
portion control: this is my fav – if you’re fuller longer, you wont need to stuff your face in one sitting (YOU ALL KNOW WHAT I AM TALKINNNNN ABOUT)

1. fage & berries (add a hint of natural granola for a lilllll crunch, recipe here)

3. frozen grapes (my all time favorite to satisfy a sweet tooth, it’s basically ice cream)
4. blue diamond nuthins w/ fresh salsa OR guacamole (pick the hint of salt flavor)
5. mixed unsalted raw nuts
6. cracklebread w/ light happy cow swiss cheese
7. lara bars (my favorite flavor is peanut butter chocolate chip)
8. organic peanut butter & banana
10. my alllllllllllll time favorite popcorn (soooooo olivia pope like – FAV: boomchickapop)
